WHY IT MATTERS:

Workers’ compensation is one of the most complex areas of P&C insurance, involving multiple stakeholders, systems and handoffs. The article highlights findings from the Sollers white paper “Orchestrating Workers’ Compensation in the AI Era,” developed with Guidewire and CLARA Analytics.

The report shows that many insurers already use AI, analytics and automation, but operational friction remains when systems and processes work in isolation. Better orchestration can connect claims workflows, medical management, fraud detection and return-to-work processes in a more consistent operating model.

AI can support areas such as triage, claims summarisation and next-best-action recommendations, but its value is greatest when it is embedded directly into the workflows used by claims professionals.
